I want to use my own "separator" and other images, e.g., logos.
Using Linux, when I click on the file-folder selector, I'm taken to /urs/lib/jalbum. That folder is owned by root and doesn't seem to be a good place to add icons / images, both because it's owned by root AND might be overwritten by updates to jAlbum and / or the ZigZag skin.
It would be good to have a local-to-user repository for such images / icons.
You can navigate to whatever folder you want (I've got a Pictures\Logos directory where I stash stuff like that, for example). On most systems, the file selector will then remember where you navigated to the last time, and start there the next time you hit the file selector.
(On Windows, it defaults to opening at the "This PC" level, which is OK.)
I add a ‘res’ folder to the project and then add subfolders to recreate the path to the skin files I want to overwrite, and finally add the file to replace the one supplied by the skin.

ZigZag provides a setting field for this - no need to go through any gyrations.
