Perfect Rob. I think you got it all right really. Just make two small changes:
  • Delete the newslines for the -filter_complex value
  • Add a note that users actually can select, copy and paste this html table directly to jAlbum's advanced settings panel. No need to manually enter values or copy one parameter row at a time.

Done. I put the newlines in so it would look better but being able to copy and paste is better :)

I figured that was the reason, but it sadly breaks the copy+paste mechanism. Perhaps it's even easier for users to simply do a "select all"+copy on a form field looking like this?:
-y=
-i=$inputPath
-i=$projectPath/logo.png
-filter_complex=overlay=(W-w)/2:(H-h)/2, unsharp=3:3:1.0:3:3:0.0, scale=min(iw\,trunc(iw*min($videoWidth/iw\,$videoHeight/ih)*0.5)*2):min(ih\,trunc(ih*min($videoWidth/iw\,$videoHeight/ih)*0.5)*2)
-ss=$clipStart
-t=$clipLength
-threads=0
-b:a=96k
-ac=2
-ar=44100
-vcodec=libx264
-crf=$videoQuality
-metadata:s:v:0=rotate=0
-movflags=faststart
-pix_fmt=yuv420p
$outputPath=

Dare I say it would be even easier if you could choose from a range of settings? To start with the default, this watermark or an empty settings table.

Not sure if its because I dont have access to the BETA, but when ever I add a line (like the second -i) when I close and reopen it does not work

If you are likely to want to install beta versions in future the easiest way is to download and install this tool. You don’t need to go looking for links to the beta, just run the tool.

A link to your album would be nice, a real world example of this technique.

Hi,

Here is the website with video overlay. http://aqr.thecgp.com/

For now I am sending videos without overlays when I get the payment.
