I just finished a conversion from about 200 individual albums into one new album with folders. These albums do contain not only photos, but also GPS tracks of the walking's with the height profiles and maps showing the track with the picture locations in Google Maps or Google Earth.
These extra files are produced by my programs
ConvertTrack and
MakeMap and by the Garmin
Mapsource program.
Because of these extra data and because most tracks are also uploaded to the
wikiloc site, it was important that the URL’s of the albums were not changed. But in an album with folders, the output folder name is equal to the corresponding image folder name, so after an initial Make I had to change a number of folder names.
The jAlbum software did a great job by changing in that case immediately also the folder name of the output directory.
To see the new layout of the albums
click here. The language of the site is Dutch, but by selecting your own language in the Google Translation box in the upper left corner, it must be possible to understand the navigation.
You see here also the new jAlbum V15 benefits: the possibility to use a theme image differently from the thumbnail folder image. I use the thumbnail folder image to show the people who participated in the walking’s immediately where that walking was, but I use the theme image selected in the new Folder panel, to select the most beautiful or fun photo during the walking.
I made new theme images in this album, via the new Folder pane in the
PhotoSwipe skin and
Slide Show 4 skin. The theme images do have all the same height and are used as a responsive picture.
My
Algarve album uses now the
FancyBox skin with
language support for the viewer.
