PanPlugin to enlarge panorama pictures

If you like to scroll through a panoramic picture, you have to supply image dimensions which are larger as the standard images in the album. To do this, you can enlarge the image dimensions of panoramic pictures with jAlbum in Edit Image with variable maxImageWidth=30000. If you do not enter a maxImageHeight variable, this setting enlarges the slide to the height indicated in the slide image bounds on the Images/General tab and adapts the width according to the width/heigth ratio of the image.

However it is a tedious procedure to type this user variable for each panorama. You can do this via the clipboard, but this is sometimes not possible due to a bug in jAlbum.

So I am glad David did help me to make the PanPlugin to do this in a more convenient way.

To use it, drop the enclosed PanPlugin.jaext file in the ext sub directory of the jAlbum program (for Windows PCs, mostly C:\Program Files\jAlbum\ext) and (re-)start jAlbum.
Click with the right mouse button on the panorama image in the Explore, open the Extensions menu item and next click again on the new item 'Maximize Panorama image width'. That is all, as you can see in the Edit image window, user variable maxImageWidth=30000 is now added as user variable to the image. For those who like to change this plugin, the zipped Netbeans project has also been enclosed.
