Do nothing setting
Posted: 11 Jan 17, 17:44

I have the preferences/publishing setting as "Do nothing", yet every time I upload an album it posts the album to my profile page (though the albums are marked as hidden). How do I actually get it to "do nothing"?

As long as you're uploading to your own webhost, I believe the only way to prevent the addition of a profile page listing is to sign out of the jAlbum application before you do the upload (upper left corner of the application). In fact, I believe you can leave yourself signed out - your license information is stored elsewhere.

You can just delete the profile page listings that have landed there already - that won't delete the album (even though the menu choice says, "Delete album").

If you're uploading to a jalbum.net hosting account (which you don't have), then I think the album must be listed, though it can certainly be hidden.

Yes, just sign out if you don't want any connections to jalbum.net. It does not affect your license.
