Multiple People Managing
Posted: 3 Jan 15, 01:26

Hi there,
I've searched and read some of the older threads about multiple people uploading and I feel a little lost. Can someone walk me through this?

I downloaded jAlbum and set up an Album. All the files are on my computer, I see that. However, I have 5 people on my team who need to manage this 'company' photo album. How does that work, exactly?

We will be publishing it to our website when we get ready (I'm not exactly sure how to do that but someone will figure it out from the help files!) so the images will reside on our website (or point to the online jAlbum, I guess...

But will we be able to add/edit/manage our photo gallery from one spot? Because as it stands, all the initial photos and layout are residing from my computer. :)

Help? :) Thank you!!

In short, it doesn't work. jAlbum generates the album on your PC, and you upload the finished product. None of this occurs on the server side. So, changes to the album occur on your PC. No one else's PC can possibly be aware of the changes. Having multiple people trying to manage a single album project is a logistical nightmare.
