I have suddenly lost the ability to connect to the FTP server. The FTP address is displayed in red, even though I haven’t changed anything and the address is completely correct. I have already set up a new FTP account in jAlbum. I still can’t connect. I’m using a free web hosting service, and FTP is the only option available there. Switching to SFTP isn’t possible either. The strange thing is that I haven’t had any problems until now. I’m using jAlbum on a Mac Pro M1 with macTahoe 26.5.2. I can connect without any issues via FileZilla. Perhaps you have any idea what to do.

Try using one of the other FTP options. I believe you're using FTP (edtFTPj). Try FTP (ftp4j) or FTP (Apache Commons).

Hi Jeff,
Thank you very much for pointing that out. I’ve already tried all of that. No success.

You’ll have to contact the helpdesk, and give them your login credentials. That way, they can test it.

Ensure that no security software is blocking jAlbum's internet access
