backgroundColor: #ffffff;
That's a Javascript attribute, not a CSS attribute.
outline: 1px dotted ButtonText;
The last attribute should be a color, of course.
speak: none;
The allowed values are auto|never|always.

And i found another quirk:
Images with the attribute "single" have the wrong aspect ration when created (existing pics are not affected).
The aspect ratio of the most pics is 2:3 or 3:4. New images are different. Example:

The 1st one is correct. All other single images have a wrong aspect ratio.

I only remembered in bed that I forgot to test with the "Show in lightbox" option turned off.

In 8.1.2, I have addressed the aspect ratio bug and fixed the faulty CSS too.

I updated the skin & album.
The original error is solved. But now there is a similar error: The images are shuffled in an strange way (same example like above).
I attached albumfiles.txt, perhaps it is helpful.

Yes, the "big gap" problem is gone, but there's some other weirdness.

(demo album removed)

Click on the first image - it flickers, but nothing else happens.

Now click on the second image - you see the first image in a lightbox. And all of the remaining thumbnails are "off by one."

ETA: Wait! I've got it!! It's still a story, but it's told as a series of flashbacks. Very daring. ;)

Version 8.1.3 appears to cure the "gap" and "time travel" problems mentioned earlier. :)
