I frequently use GPX tracks in my albums to show the track used between the locations where my photos were taken on the map, and it works very well. To do this, I manually add my GPX tracks to the image directory using Windows Explorer, but these files are never displayed in jAlbum, even though they are part of an album.

Recently, I modified an album by moving the images from one folder to another, but since the GPX files weren't visible, they weren't moved, resulting in an incorrect map.

Is there a way to make these files appear in the Explorer view? If so, it might be interesting to display them greyed out (a bit like the res directory) to show that these files do not generate an actual object (no thumbnail) in the produced album.

Edit system/filetypes.xml and add an entry for GPX files, or simply add the GPX extension to the XML file type (I take it, GPX is a type of XML file):

<type name="Extensible Markup file" icon="xml.png">
<ext>xml</ext>
<ext>gpx</ext>
</type>

Save and restart jAlbum. Now these files should show up.
