Am I doing something wrong or do we have the FTP set up wrong?

Does your web host support SFTP? If so, find out what port number they use for it, then switch to SFTP. It's much more robust.

thank you. We had port 21. e have now purchased the jalbum hosting but I've been told by my web guy that I should contact support as it's not working on all browsers and there is another embed code?

If you're hosting on jalbum.net, you don't have to worry about FTP vs SFTP, or port numbers. That's all automatic if you add jAlbum hosting to your upload profiles and then use that for your project.

The "Factory Photos 170426" album you've uploaded is working just fine in every browser I've tested:

You may just need to clear your browser cache. There is no "embed code" needed.

You should not be trying to embed an album in an iframe, unless the skin is specifically designed for that (the new Embed skin, for example). jAlbum produces complete web pages that are intended to stand on their own - they're not "snippets" to be grafted onto another page.
