As far as I know, the slot attribute marks a non-renderable element. Precisely for JS rendering.

For the moment, I'm more intrigued by the footer Author option. I haven't found anything that will produce output there, other than the date(s) and count. I even tried defining a user variable. Nothing. ;)

I thought it was a standard jAlbum variable, but it seems this is only available with images. When I add "author", it works. Perhaps we can add that in jAlbum or the skin.

The variable author is marked as ‘deprecated, use writer instead.’ But both author and writer (IPTC writer) are noted as ‘Only exists for images containing EXIF/IPTC data and if EXIF extraction is turned on.’’
