More than 12 albums in a project

My site has 12 albums in our 2025 project. Whenever I try to add another project (by dragging and dropping a folder of 24 images, all .jpg) it will only add it as what appears to be a subfolder. When I upload it, it does not appear on my site.

I am using a paid version of jAlbum - 34.1.

Is there a limit of 12 albums to a project?

Advice, recommendations are appreciated!

To avoid confusion, let's get the terminology straight. In the attached screenshot, you'll see a single album project called travels. It contains over 50 folders, one for each destination. It produces a single, integrated album, which has over 50 folders:

There is effectively no limit to the number of folders you can have in one album project. And each folder can, in turn, have as many subfolders as you care to create. There is effectively no limit to the depth of the folder tree, either.

Rather than dragging entire folders into the project, you might find it easier to keep things organized if you create each folder within jAlbum, by clicking the New folder icon, then opening that folder by double-clicking it, and then adding images to that folder.

And if you are going to drag folders into the Explore window, pay attention to where you are dragging the folder. If you drag a folder onto another folder, it will become a subfolder. If you drag a folder between two other folders, the new folder will appear between those folders. If you drag a folder into the window, and the edge of the window is highlighted, the new folder will be at the end of the existing folders.

Jeff:
If you drag a folder between two other folders, the new folder will appear between those folders.

If you drag a folder into the window, and the edge of the window is highlighted, the new folder will be at the end of the existing folders.

I tried both those techniques and in both cases nothing happened. The folder was not added.

I them tries dragging the folder the top of the list of folders, and it accepted the new folder. It then updated the Project list and all is good.

Thank you for the response.

Thank you for responding. Your technique looks good, I will try it next time.

As you can see, JeffTuckers response worked for me.

Thank you again,
