PDF Integratio in photoblogger

Hi Laza,
I got the PDF in, but I can not get rid of the adobe. I added an additional file in PNG format the same time as I copied the PDF, but it shows separate in the album. I have looked and looked.
https://interwoodvietnam.jalbum.net/Interwood%20Vietnam%20Furniture/
Look in the factory folder for the PDF.
Thanks, I am new to jalbum. Love the skin.

(Post split from an unrelated thread, and moved.)
This actually works the same way in most skins.
Let's say you have a PDF named mydog.pdf. Choose a JPG image that you want to use to represent that PDF. Rename the JPG to mydog.thm. Now add both mydog.pdf and mydog.thm to the album project together. Make the album.

I tried exactly this but could not make album. Error.
I have a pdf. I had a jpg with the picture. Changed ext to .thm.
Added both at the same time to a folder.
Made album and got the error.
Thanks for any assistance.
Please see attached screenshot.

Look at your screenshot. The image file is named Interwood Company Vietnam Profile.thm.jpg. That’s wrong.
ETA: I'll bet you're on a Mac. If so, you need to tell Finder to show you the file extensions. In Finder, choose Settings > Advanced, and choose Show all filename extensions. Now rename the file for the representing image Interwood Company Vietnam Proflie.thm. Then back in jAlbum, delete both objects from the album project and add the two files again. You should see only one thumbnail in the jAlbum Explore window. If you see two thumbnails, you have not done this correctly.

Also, please attach the JPG you're trying to use to a post here. I suspect that it's not really a JPG, but I can't tell without having the file.

I suspect the image file you're trying to use is a PNG, not a JPG. That won't work, either!
Download this ZIP file:
(ZIP file removed, since it has served its function.)
Now unzip it on your computer, which will give you the two files you need.
In your project, remove whatever Interwood Company Vietnam Profile objects you have in that folder - PDF, JPG, THM. whatever. Clean it out. Then add the two files that you have just downloaded (not the ZIP file - just the two files inside it). Make the album, and preview it, being sure to refresh your browser cache (there will probably be some garbage in the cache, left over from previous attempts).

Yes. My image actually originally was a PNG. Thanks it works. Except your view opens at 100%, mine at 23%. Is there a way to control this?
Also, how can I now add a thumbnail to the folder. Every time I try, the PDF file loses its image.
Again thanks for your help.

Yes, it's a little messy when the only object in the folder is a PDF with a THM image file. The trick is to add the image again, but with a different file name. Use the attached file, for example. Then exclude it - select it, and click the "minus" key. Finally, drag that now-excluded image to the Thumbnail box on the right of the Explore view. You can use the same trick to use an image as the theme image, but not have it included in the gallery.

I'm not sure why that's happening. On my Macbook, it opens at 97%. The browser should be adjusting the size of the PDF to match the monitor on which it's being viewed.

BTW, one little bit of misbehavior when using the jAlbum "browse bar," which is easily fixed. The routine for displaying the PDF doesn't work properly when that bar is being shown. Go to your profile page, then go to the Settings tab. Scroll down to the Album behavior section, and un-check Browse bar.
For your purposes, you don't need the browse bar anyway, so no harm in getting rid of it. I have it turned off on my own account.

Thanks for all your help.
Small details, but looks better when I send to potential customers. It already has had some impact, so that is good.
The trick works to get the thumbnail and I also turned off the browser bar. Yes, the browser bar was needed for our purpose.
Now I need to get multiple PDF in the same folder along with a video.
