Cors issue - can't get jAlbum to work on WordPress

OK, i've checked the manual(s), read several forum posts but i still can't get the plugin to work.
I have a test page here: https://www.robcoers.nl/jalbum/

And i just want to display a specific album https://gallery.jalbum.net/nl/browse/user/album/2012458

OR the user's album overview https://stucbeternr1.jalbum.net/ but it will also return the same error:

The album's database file "https://gallery.jalbum.net/nl/browse/user/album/2012458/tree.json" is missing or access is denied. If the album comes from an external site ensure Cross Origin Resource Sharing (CORS) is enabled!

So how do i enable cors? I tried several plugins, but none worked. Am i missing something completely?

In this situation, it may not be possible.

The easiest way to avoid CORS issues is to host the album on the same domain as your WP site, i.e., robcoers.nl.

To allow the WP site on robcoers.nl to access a restricted file on stucbeternr1.jalbum.net, however, you would need to alter the way jalbum.net serves its pages, and as a user, you don't have access to those controls on the jalbum.net site. The stucbeternr1 part of the address is just a subdomain, but the file header change would have to be done at the domain level.

Neither https://gallery.jalbum.net/nl/browse/user/album/2012458 nor https://stucbeternr1.jalbum.net/ are URLs to albums.
The real URL for the first album is https://stucbeternr1.jalbum.net/Stuc37/. That should work.
The page that lists albums isn't a page that the Wordpress plugin can handle.

So the main problem isn't a CORS issue. (It could be too, but probably isn't.)

If you just want to embed the overview page in a frame, there shouldn't be a problem. But you can't use the WordPress album plugin for that.
