I inadvertently modified my Default Tiger Settings recently and no longer have the share button in the footer of photos. I still have the Share button in the Hero of the album but the button I used to have in the footer is gone.
I now can't find the settings option to get the button back.

Can anyone tell me where this option is located in settings?

Quick way to find things - click on the magnifying glass at upper right and type the word you're looking for. See screenshot - clicking on that last entry will take you directly to that settings panel, and highlight the entry!

Thanks for the tip. I should have mentioned that I used Search without success, I tried 'share' and 'Social'.

I got around the problem by manually editing the jalbum-settings.jap file.

I compared a .jap file in an album with buttons to one without buttons. I saw the skin.showShare parameter was false in the album without a button so I set it to true.

Any time you find yourself manually editing any of jAlbum's control files, you can almost certainly bet that you're doing something the hard way.

But as you can see, a search for share does include that result in the lightbox settings.

Absolutely, manual editing of the .jap file means I did something wrong.

My error arose after I found and checked 'Share' on Tiger/Lightbox/Buttons. I saw the share button in the hero on the main page didn't see the Share button on the individual image pages. I can only guess that I didn't refresh the image page(s) on my browser and I was viewing old versions of the image pages after viewing a refreshed main page. That's what led me down the rabbit hole.
