I've changed the behaviour in v36.0.4 now. Just do a core update to try it.

Not sure if the majority will prefer this behaviour change though. This update also only paints triangles for expanding a path if there are sub folders available. You can either click a triangle or double-click the name of a node to expand it now.

Good that you're happy. I wonder what others think of this, but I understand that if you have lots of sub folders, then this behaviour is more practical

I like that if a folder doesn't have a subfolder there is no triangle, even better is that adding/deleting subfolders shows/removes the triangle instantly - no refresh needed.
