Projector - Bug report - Regression related to the slideshow stop command

The slideshow stop command does not work anymore, i.e. it has no effect when pressing the button.

Furthermore, the display of the button itself is really weird:
1) There is no animation anymore during the slide show execution.
2) The graphical moving arrow of the button is no longer centered on the button (offset on the right). See attached png file.

This issue occurs both on a PC (Windows 10) or on an Android smarphone, with jAlbum 34.1 and v35.0.2.

The really strange thing is that I am using the latest Projector version 4.3.0, which was released end 2023 and which was perfectly working fine (and which has solved other regressions); so could this be a bug related to jAlbum application?

I can't replicate this - in a test album, the play/pause button works properly, and is formatted correctly. We'll need a link to an album that shows the problem.

No. The jAlbum core doesn't produce a single line of HTML, CSS, or Javascript. It handles only project organization and image processing. It doesn't put anything on the album page.

I found the setting that's causing the problem. Laza will want to address it.

In short, turn this off - see screenshot.

Thanks Jeff,
This is indeed working :-).
The strange thing is that I didn't change this setting since I am using the Projector skin, thus some years ago!

Let's see what Laza will find.

Thanks! I remembered there was a bug in Projector, I just forgot where. (After I made the progress bar circle, the change was not carried over to the sidebar-less layout.)

Hello Laza,
One more thing, it looks like there is another regression "hidden" behind the display of the progress bar circle (with or without the sidebar-less layout):
  • The video does not start any longer automatically as the slideshow is "frozen",
  • Worst, even if your force the "next slide" button on the right, nothing happens.

Hello Laza,
Any update of the projector skin to fix the sidebar-less layout?
Thanks.

Hello Laza,
I just tested the version 4.4 yesterday evening, this release is indeed fixing:
  • The bug about the slideshow stop command,
  • The bug where video does not start any longer automatically as the slideshow is "frozen".

Good, so I marked this post as "answered".
The problem is that I have found 2 new small regressions; I will open a new post.
