Hi. Yes you can type CTRL+SHIFT+E to open the files of that skin for editing. Now select the "slide.htt" tab, which is responsible for slide page generation (where the thumbnail strip is. Now edit lines 36 and 38. I changed all references from "7" to "9" in the code snippet below. This generates 9 thumbnails in the strip:
<%-- Thumbnail navigation --%>
<ja:if test="${thumbnailNavigation}">
<%
	thisFile = fileName;
	thumbstripBefore = 5;
	thumbstripBefore = Math.min(thumbstripBefore, imageNum - 1);
	thumbstripBefore = Math.max(thumbstripBefore, (imageNum + 9) - (1 + totalImages));
%>
<div id="thumbnav">
	<ja:fileiterator start="-${thumbstripBefore}" count="9" exclude="folder, webLocation">

Also, if you make custom edits, make them in a renamed copy of the skin in order to avoid having your edits overridden by a jAlbum update or skin update. See Tools->Skin developer->Create new skin... (Base your modification on "Mimimal")

Hi, thank you very much for your prompt reply and your expertise.
One more question :
I previously used the skin Bananalbum which is no more updated.
Each time I launch Jalbum I get a pop-up reading :
" The skin Bananalbum_v6.1.3 is missing. Do you want to download it ?"
Is seems that any new project call for this skin by default.
What can I do to get around this ?

You're welcome.
To fix that skin issue. Select the skin you wish to be the default (I recommend Plain), then select File->Save as default.
