And I'm still getting the same results. Using jAlbum 33.0.10, I create a new, empty project, and add these three images to it:

(test images removed)

The "original" version is straight from the camera, untouched by human hands. The "edited" version has had a run through Elements for some minor tweaks to lighting and color, but nothing else. The "corrected" version has been through Attribute Changer to give it a sensible camera date.

If I immediately go to the image directory and open albumfiles.txt, this is what I see:
pa008 - corrected.jpg 1107802800
pa008 - edited.jpg -62170138800
pa008 - original.jpg -62170138800
It would be very helpful if someone else tried this!

It's different because the "date added" doesn't get put into the file until you make the album. That's what those 1698500162 times are.

But it's good to see someone else on whose machine the "zero dates" are not being filtered out. Thanks for checking!

I also get the same result on my ancient Macbook Air.

Oh my! I had left == in the comparison instead of <. Now it works here. Just get v33.0.11

(It beats me why I couldn't reproduce the problem earlier, but with your last 3 files, I could reproduce it, and now it works)

Another tragic victim of the EVCS - the Ekholm Version Control System™.

I think this can all be marked "solved," including the problem that I first posted about (missing dates entirely).

jAlbum will someday be a wonderful application. If it's ever finished. ;)
