'New images' order alphabetical instead by date?
Posted: 1 Aug 23, 09:29

Hi Laza,

I'm back again with a problem around the new images feature. I set order "date" but get "alphabetical" (this order isn't on the list to choose, but could be potential useful).

Attached a screenshot.

Best regards,
Micha

I could find the cause of the error and also added "Alphabetical" to the ordering options. I also found a bug that makes the new image set incomplete if file names contained "," characters. I will release the skin update soon.

Users keep finding ways to produce troublesome file names.

But it's not always their fault. In working on my Opus 16 skin, I discovered that the standard routines for ripping CD's produce file names that are absolutely loaded with problem characters. It's as if the software developers have gone out of their way to break things.

:) It is difficult to understand that the character set of files intended for the web must be the common denominator of the character set of the machines participating in the chain.
