Is there a way to have jAlbum delete everything in destination FTP folder on the server before transferring updated album?

It seems this is not possible but I wanted to confirm.

If I understand correctly this will delete target folder and I will need to create it again before proceeding, right?

Or just do it from the Explore view before starting the upload. Right-click on the project name on the left, then see screenshot.

But this is usually not necessary. jAlbum uses a manifest file to ensure that it uploads only new or changed files, and deletes files on the server that are no longer needed.

The paragraph above the toolbar tells you jAlbum will suggest a folder name, change it if needed
