Projector - Bug report - Regression for custom page

Hello Laza,

I just discovered another regression introduced with Projector 4.0: you cannot scroll any longer a custom page, the elevator is gone and the mouse wheel has no effect.
This occurs both on a PC and on a smartphone.

I have used Projector 4.0 to rebuild 2 albums ("2022 Vienne" and "2022 Minorque"):
  • The problem is visible for these 2, whereas all other albums build with Projector 3.10 or 3.10.1 do not have this problem.
  • Select the custom page on top, e.g. "A propos de l'album" or "Informations pratiques"

Sorry, here are the files you have to save to the skin directory (Ctrl-Shift-S) / css folder to fix this.

I don't know how this happened, as I never sign on jalbum.net as samples. And using jAlbum to upload to the "samples" account should not affect my forum activity, I think.

Hello Laza,

Sorry, I don't see any change in the behavior of the custom page, after having updated these 2 system files.

Please note that the previous regression about the keyword filtering is not solved either.
Overall I have reported 5 regressions about the Projector skin, between May 22 and February 23.

Thank you to look into this quickly.

Sorry, I thought the keyword search regression has solved. Perhaps it's my poor understanding.
"now you display the thumbnails of the filtered images on the left side"
  • how do you mean that? I haven't seen such.

The custom page behavior in my album got fixed. Could you please give me an example where it did not?

Hello Laza,

Thank you for your quick reply. Here are the 2 albums on which you can see the issue related to the custom page (mentioned above).

Select the custom page "A propos de l'album":
https://philippecharles.jalbum.net/2022%20Vienne
https://philippecharles.jalbum.net/2022%20Minorque

As these 2 custom pages are not very long, you will not see the issue on a PC and an HD screen, but you will see the issue on a mobile (with both horizontal and vertical display).

The problem reveals itself on a PC if you simply make the browser window shorter than the page content. It's a CSS problem - see screenshot.

ETA: In common.css, overflow: hidden; is commented out, but somehow, in the live page, it's taking effect anyway.

Hello Jeff,
Good point for the window resize on PC.
Thank you for your feedback; I hope this will help Laza to fix this quickly.

Hello Laza,

The good news is that the new version 4.1.0 has fixed this regression for custom page.

The bad news is that you have introduced another regression ... see separate thread.
