Embeding an album in a responsive website

Dear Laza,
I've a Tiger-jAlbum album, containing approx 20,000 photos. It behaves perfectly, effectively creating a stand alone website. It's liked to a responsive website and a user can flick back and forth between the two displays. It works perfectly.
I'd like to embedded an album, containing a dozen or more photos, in a responsive webpage. Tiger is responsive, and I understand that a responsive display (i.e. once created using Tiger) cannot be embedded in a responsive webpage.
Is there a way around this. If I created an album using a "non-responsive skin" would that work? I don't need any controls, just a photo display that will rotate the photos (a slide show on a loop). There are a few non-responsive skins. ShowLite; Shuffle; Polygot; Reflections and Mirage. Will any of these skins do the job.
Many thanks,
Peter

You've got the wrong end of the stick. If you used a non-responsive skin, embedded on your page, the slide images would always show at their full size, regardless of how you embedded the slide show. On a phone, for example, you'd still get big, 1200px-across images, with most of the images cut off.
What you need is a responsive display of the slide images, but without the skin expecting to be in control of the entire page display.
How about this:

Dear JeffTucker,
That appears to be exactly what I’m looking for. I’ll experiment with the skin and try and duplicate your display.
If you have some settings you could send me, that would be great.
Many thanks,
Peter

Building the parent page, of course, is up to you - you can look at the page code on my site, just to see the basic iframe routine. Notice the double wrappers around the iframe, and pay attention to the CSS that's applied to them (in the page's own common.css file). That's what makes the iframe itself responsive to the viewport size. There's also some Javascript that "unfloats" the iframe if the page is being viewed on a phone.
For the embedded album itself, the attached project file has all the basics. You'll need to change things like the output directory, of course.

Thank you so much. However, technically, I'm getting a little our of my depth.
I've created a test album with Triton, and embedded it. Appears to work, except the display won't automatically start, and if you click on the image you will get "full screen". Autostart is selected, and Full Screen is deselected.
I attach a clip of the settings.
Many thanks.

The automated slideshow won't start by itself unless the album is embedded in an iframe on another page. This is a "feature" of browser security.
Clicking on the image should never invoke fullscreen behavior, so I have no idea what you're doing that's making that happen.

Triton has me defeated, I just cannot get the settings right. If you could send me specifics examples of code I can experiment and get the thing to work.
I've no problem with Tiger. As an illustration, here is one of my Tiger albums.

But Tiger won't work - as far as I can ascertain - for embedding a single album in a responsive web page.
Thanks again.

Start by trying a basic Triton album. Don't choose Theme image splash page.
The iframe embedding is something that's beyond the scope of jAlbum. I try to avoid getting dragged into those kinds of website coding issues. You're welcome to look at the page code on my site, which contains everything you should need to know. But I really can't get involved beyond that. It's the Black Hole of Support.
ETA: Edited to clarify. Even when not embedded, a timed, automatically-starting slideshow will work. Start with the default settings. Uncheck Theme image splash page, Fullscreen option, and Restart icon. Add a few images, make the album, and preview it. There's no way for the visitor to get out of it, but the slideshow does occur.

Thank you. I appreciate your help. I’ll keep fiddling with it and eventually solve the problem by trial and error.
I’ll let you know how I eventually get on.
