cropping the Hero image

Hello,
Would it be possible to crop the Hero image also horizontally, and not only vertically ?
This means zooming in the photo and choosing the part.
Or just cutting the left or right part.
Sure i could do this manually, outside jAlbum...

Just use the normal crop tool in edit mode. If you want to use the same image un-cropped in the album duplicate it, and only use the cropped image for the hero image.

But remember that the hero/theme image needs to be wide enough to cover the entire width of the monitor. If it isn't, it will be enlarged by the browser, and will become blurry.
