Zigzag: logo
Posted: 29 Jan 23, 21:18

I'm just playing with this.

I've set up a small album using Zigzag. At the top of the page is a big logo: it currrently says "ANYLOGO" in a fancy font.

I can't see how to change that to an image or some other logo. How can I adjust that?

Thanks Richard

See Zigzag > Intro panel > Center logo.

But I think you'll find that there are a lot of problems with this, including a seemingly missing file (it looks like you have to hit F5 to refresh the jAlbum Explore view before making the album, or your selected logo file doesn't get included), and various sizing issues.

A little more tinkering.... To use your own logo, you have to make the album once without your logo, then go to that setting and provide your own logo.

The sizing issue is a classic example of a skin doing you a "favor" that you didn't ask for. It sizes the logo to occupy 60% of the page width. Unless your logo is huge, that's waaaaaay too large, so the logo gets blown up to horrible fuzziness.

The cure is to head for Zigzag > Advanced, and enter some quick custom CSS:
.centerlogo {width: auto;}
