Strange upload

Hi,

I moved all my albums from Matrix to Jupiter. They all look good in the preview.
Now I uploaded with FileZilla a few albums, and one of the albums has a complete different look. The settings seem the same as for the other albums. I'm afraid there is something (hidden?) which I can't see...
I've uploaded several times, and refreshed the site, without result.

Here is the link:

When you're clicking "2017-2018 - Wageningen" you see what I mean...

What to do?

They all look like the same layout, to me. Do a forced refresh of your browser cache - CTRL-F5 on a Windows machine. Try another browser, which won't have the site cached already.

ETA: BTW, you really should be using the jAlbum uploader instead of FileZilla, because that will keep the server version of the album synchronized with the local version, automatically deleting files that are no longer being used. Not relevant to the problem you think you're seeing here, but good practice.

Super, it's fine now! I never did a forced refresh before, so thanx for the CTRL-F5 solution.

I'm using FileZilla for years, but your description of the advantages of the jAlbum uploader sounds good!
Thanx again!

I would also recommend using CCleaner at least once a day - it clears out stuff like cached, stale files in the browsers, along with clearing out the recycle bin, getting rid of unneeded cookies, and so on. The free version is fine.

The other advantage to using the jAlbum uploader is that it's faster than FileZilla. Because it's using a manifest file, it doesn't have to go through the whole target directory, comparing the file time stamps one at a time.

I'm using CC sometimes, when there are problems. Never thought using it once a day. Okay! :-)

I was searching on the forum, also with keyword Filezilla, before I posted my question. I got the impression that this manifest file caused some problems. Or was that only in the past?

In its early days, that file was easily corrupted, and had to be manually deleted to straighten things out. But David has made this much more robust. I use it for my large travel and family albums, and have had no trouble with it. Even if there's a problem with the file, it's easily fixed.
