I don't know if this is a skin thing or a jalbum thing or a setting thing.

On mobile and tablet (Android) pinch zoom doesn't work, nothing happen, and the zoom button in the toolbar doesn't do anything

Pinch zoom is the functionality that belongs to the browser. It zooms into the web page. (Not the image alone.)

Now I tried it on my Android phone and both work. You can zoom into the webpage with pinch zoom and can use the zoom button of the skin to control the image magnification. Can you please give me an example of what you see?

It's set to go straight into full screen mode and I've just noticed that the pinch zoom works when not in full screen mode but doesn't in full screen mode (well for me anyway)

I assume that is also a browser thing?

Yes, I can't figure out now why pinch zoom is not allowed in full-screen mode - but there's always a reason behind those restrictions.
