Tiger, cut off "menu" (Top Bar/Top Navigation)
Posted: 27 Apr 22, 17:38

Hi,

using Tiger Version 3.14, jAlbum 27 1.b1.

Assume you have a folder with more than 20 sub folders. So the "menu" (Top Bar/Top Navigation) Tiger creates will have 20 sub entries. On a device with for example 1920x1080 you'll see maybe 17 or 18 entries, the rest of the list is kind of cut off.

Any chance Tiger can handle this, so all sub folder will be accessible from the "menu"?

Just in case it is not clear what I'm talking about, try that with my album https://www.markus-drueck.de/norge/ and move the pointing device to "2019/01 (13)" with 23 sub menus.

Thanks in advance, Markus

I have checked this, and unfortunately, there's no easy solution for this, because of the 3rd level menus. As I see now, the only solution would be to place the submenus absolutely positioned calculated by some javascript.

I'm not sure if other users of Tiger also have big submenus, but considering that most people are watching the albums on small screens (tablet and smartphone) the amount of a "big" submenue is quite low. So, I really would like you to ask to think this issue over. Many thanks in advance.

On mobiles, the menu is quite different, and this problem does not arise there.
