Very funny Jeff. true!
and for what it's worth, I've not had an issue since adding the flag!
Java seem to be using somewhat different API calls to the underlying graphics drivers which causes graphic driver problems to only manifest in Java programs. The problem is either with the specific graphics driver or a general Java problem. If it's the latter, then Oracle should be very well aware of it. We soon plan to move to Java 18 once we sort out performance issues with the GraalJS JavaScript engine, then perhaps these issues will be gone. In either case, let your graphics driver manufacturer know about this issue. It's at least not jAlbum specific as Java programs are insulated from the hardware.
