The release notes page for jAlbum 28 has, in the header of the page, the bullet points from jAlbum 27.

https://jalbum.net/en/software/release-notes

Of course, we all know that users don't read release notes, so....

In case of a hasty retreat?

ETA: I only noticed it because I initially pulled up the announcement on my phone, and the bullet list is very prominent on a small display.

Because we can't (or haven't implemented a way to) write those texts before they are actually being visible on the site. And they require a redeploy of the site. It's not just a database entry somewhere. They could be, but would require some thinking to also make them translatable in our normal translation tool.
