Background processing error

Testing in jAlbum 26.2.1 and 26.3b3

If I disable background mode, the album generates successfully.

If I enable background mode, album generation fails with error

se.datadosen.util.ScriptException: java.lang.NullPointerException in init.bsh at line number 9

The statement that fails is

new MgInit(engine);

Logged messages show that MgInit.java was partially processed.

System console does not contain the Java error stack, so I can't identify the statement that failed. The stack shows in other circumstances; it just doesn't appear in this situation.

How can I write the Java error stack to system console?

Wrap that call in a try { ... } catch (Throwable t) { t.printStackTrace(System.out); }
