And a "broken pipe" message usually means that the server has disconnected you, either because it has gone down, or because you have exceeded the storage limit on your account. Whatever the reason, it's a server error, and not something jAlbum can fix.

I have now written to my provider because I regularly have problems.
Maybe it's also my settings, since I'm still uploading with FTP?

If your web host supports SFTP for uploading, use it. It's always more reliable. You will have to ask your web host what port number to use.

I have now switched to sFTP. It's getting better.
