No direction selected on 'Find'

With the 26.1 release the 'Find' window opens but on first use there is no direction selected. See attached screen grab. For the search to work you need to select either down or up. The down option seems like a reasonable default value.

Works for me. OK on Mac, too. In what context are you invoking the "find" command?

Start jAlbum, open a project, select a photo with metadata, from the contextual menu select list metadata. Press Command/Ctrl + F. Same by opening the system console selecting a pane and then invoking the find window.

Ah, OK. Yes, there the initial direction is missing.

It works as your screen grab IF I'm editing skin files (hence the 'All documents' option in your image). I was trying out the 26.1 release find for metadata and system console only.

Good that you spotted that. Do a core update to get a fix for this.

Will try tonight, but I’m sure it will be fine.

So young, so trusting!
But yes, it's fixed.
