I'm trying to use jAlbums' built in upload manager to upload my images to my web site. I've been using Winscp and it works great but of course it does not know what files I've changes. So I'd like to use jAlbums' upload manager. The question I have is, when I set up the upload account exactly like the Winscp account, using the SFTP protocol jAlbum connects but I do not get the directory tree. If I switch the account to FTP it works fine. My Winscp account uses SFTP and the directory shows just fine. So why won't jAlbums' upload manager? I would like to use SFTP if possible.

And if memory serves, when you switch to SFTP, you might also have to re-designate your "web root" folder.

Thank you all for your responses. I am still having issues with the SFTP but but FTP is working great. If someone wants to "steal" my vacation pictures, well so be it. There are a few things I want to try, when I have some time and I will either post what I found here or contact you, David. I will say that I love using the integrated Upload manager as it only uploads my changes, saving lots of time. I will post again after running some tests.
