Album on webpage but not in My Albums

This has got me flummoxed. I recently installed Yoast to help me with my first website. For some reason, a few albums disappeared from my project list (blank page where the project was) AND "My Albums" (folder does not exist. Thankfully, the albums are still in my jalbum.net collection. And the one in my project list (with the same title) has old photos in it and is not updated!

How in the world do I copy my album from the Jalbum.net page and make a folder of it under My Albums? I assume if I can do that, I can then drag the folder to the projects list and make an updated project?

Thanks!

See https://jalbum.net/help/en/Play_safe_with_jAlbum
If you don’t have backups of your images you can download them from the website and then add them to your projects again.

I also recommend that you try to locate your projects again by doing a computer-wide search for files ending in .jap, i.e a *.jap search. This will reveal any jAlbum projects.

Thanks, I tried that and it says "no album has been made yet"!

How can I move the album that obviously exists on jalbum.net to my project files?

When I look for any .jap files, I see a long list of lifeboat.zip files.

I went through the lifeboat files until I found the one I wanted, renamed the folder to the one I wanted and copied the files into the project - and it worked!

Thanks all, I did not know about the lifeboat files and they really are a lifesaver!

Go to the root of your published album, if it shows index.html or similar delete that part, then add lifeboat.zip and hit enter. That will start the download. Example

Sounds you attempted an upload instead of a download. Right-click the folder and select "download".

However, I'd first try to locate the project folders or project files (.jap) locally. They just don't magically disappear.
