Good morning,

after I got my folder issue solved I tried to upload my album to my webspace.

I got problems with the ftp manager insider jAlbum. I get a ftp connection to my server but I can´t see any directory structure.
Therefore I do not know where my files will be uploaded. (see attached picture)

Upload with Filezilla works fine.

Any Idea why I can´t see any files/folders?

1. pic the settings
2. pic result after connecting

Thanks
Jörgen

Once you're connected, click the little wrench/spanner icon on the far right to display the contents on the server. If that works (and it should), it's important to mark your web root - the little folder icon with a globe on it.

You might also have better luck with a different protocol. On my web host, I found that SFTP was more stable and reliable than the others. Or try one of the simple, non-encrypted choices, like one of the plain FTP choices (there are two of them).

Thanks, it worked with just the normal FTP protocol, for some reason.

In Filezilla it works only with encryption, strange.

Lots of byzantine variations. There are three secure protocols available, and for each of them, you can click Advanced and specify a port number. My host, for example, uses a non-standard port for SFTP. And for two of the protocols you can also select or de-select Passive mode. Sometimes it just takes experimentation.
