Suspect the answer is "no" but just to be sure. Can an album created in iOS be modified on a PC with Windows? And vice versa.
My friend operates on both and wants to know if she needs to have two separate jAlbum installations. Any related info would be appreciated.
Thanks, DaveC
Partially, yes. The iOS and online versions of jAlbum do not use the same skins as the desktop application. The following works for jAlbum hosted albums, no idea about self hosted albums.
With that in mind, having logged in to the iOS version, create your iOS album.
On the desktop application go to Menu>File>Import> Published album. It will open the 'Manage uploads' window and show the published album, select it. Click on 'Download' and you will get a message 'This album was made with online jAlbum. Do you wish to import it?' Click 'Yes'. It will download the album and create a new desktop project, with images and descriptions. Check the skin and settings it has selected, it may need changing.
