After you've finished uploading an album, jAlbum brings up the album in your browser. But it's defaulting to http: rather than https:. For a non-jAlbum web host, that's the safe choice, but for jalbum.net hosting, it should default to the secure URL.

Just a few more months, and we'll hit the magic 3-year mark! ;)

BTW, the upload dialog box reveals that the URL is going to be wrong - it shows http:

If you remove the entry for <account>.jalbum.net at Tools->Upload/Manage and then readd it it should use https.

Success!

One null pointer error in the console, but no harm done: when adding the new profile, it proceeded to try to upload an album, but I was sitting in an empty project, so....

(ETA: Just going through my personal bugs list to see which of them are still present. Most, I'm afraid. :( )

Great! And it only affects new projects, since the full album URL is stored in each project.
