This morning I recognize in my album with more than 21000 entries that there were two broken links. Two video files had the wrong extension due to a conversion from mpg to mp4.
I was wondering if there a more broken links in my album, but it was clear that I didn't want to search by hand. That's why I started to look for a feature to find broken links.
In this forum I found several solutions, e.g.

, to repair broken links. Unfortunately this did not solve my doubt as I didn't know if the was a wrong directory somewhere. But inspired from the tool developed by Laza, I modified it to answer my question; see attached file.
Laza has posted where to copy the file on Windows systems. On my Linux system I copied the file to the tools directory in the installation path of jAlbum.
The tools is located in Tools / External tools / Find broken links and reports the number of broken links. The broken link itself is reported in the system console, press F7 to open.
