i don't think so. Installing debs may have the risk of corrupting the system. I do not want to do this. It for sure is more work to find a proper Java version and install it in some private dir, but i did this before and i works. However, as mentioned, i...

i think the 'F' is FX, there was a text complaing about missing Java FX (if i remember correctly) when clicking on the warning icon in the lower right corner of JAlbum. I can however not reproduce the error at the moment

That's strange indeed ("Not on F"). It doesn't seem to be one of "our" errors. What skin are you using?

i have a strange error message which appears sometimes when updating an album. However, everything seems to work fine, i can update and upload just fine.
