One more note: You may see a few more images being processed even if you hit abort. This happens on multi core settings: jAlbum will finish processing images it's started processing on each core before aborting.

Really odd. This background processing in spite of hitting the abort button seems to happen on v36.1 beta only (for me), but I cannot see what change I could possibly have done. I haven't been poking with the core in v36.1. The problem also appears if...

If you perform a make album then cancel it by clicking on the 'x' at the right hand side of the status bar, the album is made anyway. The left hand of the status bar though shows a spinner and eventually ' (make) aborted'.
