Hi there. I'm using the Story skin. What are recommendations for the BEST image quality settings within this skin? My images, don't appear to be the sharpest in the album now. I am dragging the images from the Apple PHOTOS app.

Thank you
H

"Drag and drop" from Photos is bringing only a low-resolution thumbnail, not the full-sized original. You can see it yourself - after you drag an image into jAlbum, hover on the "i" information link at the upper right of the thumbnail. Look at the dimensions of the image! It's often something like 640x360, whereas the original was 4032x3024.

Not a surprise that the images in your album are less than wonderful!

In Photos: File > Export, then drag the images from Finder into jAlbum.

Well, shoot. I was hoping to not have to go through another step and then to duplicate files from Photos. {{{sigh}}}

Thanks,

I know the feeling. I have a Windows desktop, and a Macbook Air. Not sure which I prefer, but Photos is just perpetually annoying. :(

You could try option dragging from Photos. I think drag and drop from Photos behaviour has changed from earlier versions. Don’t use Photos so it may not work, or it may need CMD drag.

I just tried the "usual suspects," like OPT-drag, CMD-drag, and various SHIFT combinations. No joy with any of them. :(

I even tried them while spinning around in my chair and singing Land of Hope and Glory. That didn't work, either. ;)

Oh, come on...that SHOULD have worked! Try tilting your head to the left and whistling.
