key file authentication for sftp/ssh file transfers

Hello,

I'm new here and feel a little sheepish about requesting a new feature, but it would be nice to get key file authentication for sftp file transfers. I chose this option on the server hosting my albums in order to minimize the surface attack (by not allowing username/password authentication or opening extra ports).

There is no rush as I'm presently using Filezilla to upload the albums.

Hello,

Any update on this ?
Uploading with sftp / scp (and maybe rsync) with a ssh keys (and not just password) would be really useful.
I don't allow password authentication on my servers for security reason.

Sorry for this taking ages, do you have a machine set up to only allow key authentication for that we can test on?

I wil do that!
I use now Filezilla, but even for very small changes I need to resend my complete site
