Saturn 124 - Slides appearance and Slideshow

I sure appreciate the changes to the thumbnail layout but the new appearance of the slides has me wondering if I missed something. Such as why am I seeing a black padding around the image? I even changed the border and padding to "0" yet the black padding persists. The "Previous/Next" side arrows and the "Close X" appear even if they are de-selected. The "Counter-position" selection has no impact. The counter always appears at lower-left even if de-selected. The slideshow icon appears when selected but so far the slideshow is not working.

(See attached screenshot)

Wait a minute...as I write this, I've been testing and have some answers.

The black padding appears only if the slideshow is enabled. The appearance of the "Prev/Next" and "Close X" also appear if the slideshow is enabled. The counter position is also forced to the lower left of the black padding area regardless of its settings.

Hmmm, I'm not sure if this is the intended operation. It would seem that if a user enables the Slideshow, then certain Appearance settings should be greyed out and counter position setting should be greyed out. And I'm sure that if Jeff allowed color changes to the padding, then there would be potential problems with font colors.

What say, Jeff?

Oh, I know that symptom. It means there's an error in the Javascript - even a tiny one is enough to trigger it. I'll have to track it down....

Found it. I changed a Javascript function name, but missed a couple of references to it.

JS errors produce an interesting phenomenon - the slide images start showing the default Floatbox styling, without all of my customizations. It's really ugly.

I normally don't use the Slideshow so if I disable it in settings, then the slides look proper according to the settings.

My crystal ball says there is a Saturn 125 in the near future. :-)
