Hi,

using JA 37.7, Tiger Version 6.10 - which comes with JA 37.7 and is maybe the wrong version number:

- Threads and BlueSky sharing on the Contact page
 
Changed:
- When no title is specified, the underscores "_" get replaced in the folder name with spaces. It also works for the previous and next folder links.
 
Fixed:
- In Firefox v140 and up, the theme image remains from the previous folder, because of Firefox's buggy cache handling

Is "52477102745" the name of a folder? Perhaps jAlbum does a favor and converts this to a number, and when the skin tries to perform string operations on it, it fails.

I de-installed, reinstalled with a freshly downloaded install package and still get:

So there is no surprise, compiling again gives the same error.

I'lt try to reinstall an older version of JA.

No, I excluded this folder involved first, but, same error. <sigh>

If you ask me this has to do with the new handling of file name sort order.

I went back to JA 37.6 and going in Explore mode into that folders "2022 11 03" … works fine now.

Compiling my album with JA 37.6 works too.

My conclusion, this is not a skin error, sorry Laza for accusing Tiger.

Please, team Sweden, can you have a look at this issue. Please let me know if I should create a package of files involved.

First, about seeing Tiger 6.10 instead of 6.11.... Open your configuration directory and delete skin/Tiger. The latest version is bundled with jAlbum 37.7, so you don't need to have another copy of it. Ordinarily, the core handles these conflicts, but if you have rejected a skin update, it might still be pointing to your local copy.

The error you're getting is probably related to the change in jAlbum's sorting rules for file names. The new routine must be trying to deal with that string as a number, and running into trouble doing so.

After de installing I always clean up under "C:\Program Files\jAlbum" and "C:\Users\MDrück\AppData\Roaming\jAlbum".

I don't install "inbetween" updates from Tiger for a long time again. I only use the one which comes with a new version of JA. So there are no left over older inbetween versions of Tiger anyway on my machine.

The error you're getting is probably related to the change in jAlbum's sorting rules for file names. The new routine must be trying to deal with that string as a number, and running into trouble doing so.

That is my guess too.

There's a typo in the release notes that Laza includes in the skin, so there are two entries for Tiger 6.10. Ignore it. Get the real skin information - see screenshot.

Thanks for reporting. There is a bug in the new name ordering code that fails when numeric parts of the file name doesn't fit in an integer. I've now addressed this so it handles arbitrary length numbers (by using BigInteger).

Just restart jAlbum and let it auto-update to 37.7.1 and this issue should be gone.

Good to hear. This is one of the first times I've had ChatGPT write the code. I don't know if I should blame AI or myself for not checking that part :-). It's my mistake not to check the code more thoroughly naturally.
