no thumbnails on the start page

After “Album erstellen” I get this error message for each image: java.awt.image.RasterFormatException: negative or zero width
The album is created but thumbnails are not displayed on the start page.
What is the cause?

Please attach one of your original images to your post here, or, if the file size is too large, upload it somewhere and give us a link to it. I suspect there's a problem with the image file format, but we need to have one of the images to test.

Just double check that you have thumbnails in your local album, in your os file system. If they are there check that they are also on your server.

We really need access to one of the original images that you're using in the project, rather than the processed slide images.
Also, your album doesn't include the lifeboat file, which is often needed for debugging. Please include that file, make the album again, and upload it again.

I think Turtle is now broken. Just installed the skin and built an album that produces thumbs but they don't show in the browser.
Web development tools shows an error:
Viewport argument key "minimal-ui" not recognized and ignored.Failed to load resource: the server responded with a status of 404 (Not Found)TypeError: i.turtle is not a function. (In 'i.turtle({
resPath:'../res',relPath:'Dogs/',level:1,nextFoldersFirst:'../Cats/index.html#jonas-vincent.jpg',
albumName:'Welcome to jAlbum!',slideshowDelay:4000000,clickBesideForIndex:!0,buttonLabels:!0,fitPadding:0,
licensee:'436fb018b3f1bc88a12eef48df092875',thumbHeight:209,showImageNumbers:!1,
cols:2
})', 'i.turtle' is undefined)

Also on first loading of the skin there was an error:Ignoring skin hints. Same family: Turtle
Error setting "small" on JSpinner component thumbGap: illegal value
It has not re-appeared in subsequent loading.

Restarted jAlbum, deleted album, rebuilt and the album now shows thumbnails in Safari.
Still Turtle is obsolete and Tiger would be the better option.
So, still need an original image.

I just reinstalled Turtle, added a few images, and made an album. No error messages, no problems with the album itself.
It's obsolete, and no one should be using it any longer, but I'm not seeing any problems with it.

Hi guys,
Thank you very much for your support. The whole “thumbs” folder was actually missing. I have just started a new attempt and recreated the project. Now it works.
Best regards

Tiger is a replacement for Turtle. Tiger makes fully responsive pages, the design is very similar and it is being maintained, unlike Turtle. Try a small test project and if you get the album how you want it to look save it as the default (jAlbum's File menu, save as default, also save as skin default). Then you can convert your projects, or if you prefer duplicate them first so you can fall back if you really want to stick to Turtle.

This user's license appears to be just shy of ten years old, so using Tiger may not be an option. Tiger claims to be able to run on jAlbum 24, which is over five years old, though I'm not sure I believe it. But it certainly won't work with jAlbum 12.
In any event, sticking with decade-old technology is never a good idea.
