Sorry if the question has already been answered. But unfortunately I can't find the solution via the search.

How can I display the file name of the pictures in the gallery? Unfortunately, I can't do it.

A second question: can the URL for Paypal in the shopping cart be changed to a country-specific URL?

Many thanks in advance for your help!

Go to Settings / Tiger / Lightbox / Caption, and choose any Preset that contains "file name".

Similarly for the thumbnails go to Settings / Tiger / Sections / Images and do the same.

The skin sends the "Locale" you select in Settings / Tiger / Site / Design / Language, and it's up to PayPal to display the country-specific page. (Note, PayPal doesn't have country-specific pages for every country.)

Hello,

I know it is an old post, but I only just stumbled over this.

I have created an album with Tiger/Linen skin.
https://cathmann.jalbum.net/DGS%20Woerterbuch/

I managed to make the file names visible underneath each picture, but only in the browser version of that album. I would like to see the file names also in the mobile version.

Any hint on how I can adapt the settings to make that happen?

A big thank you in advance,
Christine

I'm seeing the file names under the thumbnails both in a desktop browser and in a mobile browser. See screenshot, from Brave on an iPhone 14.

Mobile browsers are very stubborn about retaining cached versions of pages. You need to dig into the settings on your mobile browser, and find out how to clear the cached data.

One quick check is to try a different mobile browser, which won't have the cached files from earlier experiments.

How do we set this as default. It seems I keep having to revisit this as an afterthought and have already made & published the gallery.

I'm back to this issue, I can't find out how to add the image names to my galleries again because I guess I can't figure out how to save the settings. Each time I make a new gallery the images show no names. I'm searching but have yet to find this info....

Get the settings the way you want them, then choose File, Save as default.

If you can’t find how to do something in the application’s search, or the forum try the manual.
Not sure where to look there too, try the glossary or the wiki search.
https://jalbum.net/help/en/JAlbum/Glossary

In this case you will find the answer under ‘D’ and ‘S’, default and save as default.

The file name is not the best for entering a caption. That cannot contain several characters, and no HTML formatting either. This is why "Title + Comment" is the default choice for captions.

Tiger skin has a Glossary (Settings / Tiger / Help / Glossary), under which every caption template has a separate link.

Search can also help, start typing "caption".

What does Title plus Comment show on the images? Or under them? I need customers to be able to tell which image number/name they want.

It shows the Title plus the Comment, see the attachment.

If you don't have titles, you can use Title or Filename + Comment (the default option). If no title is entered, it will default to the file name.
