Latest Tiger Skin update issue

Hello,
After the latest Tiger Skin update (version 6.6) my web browser (Chrome, Edge, Vivaldi...) behaves as if the presentation of images takes place on a mobile device (like an android smartphone) and all top menus such as Sitemap, Index, Calendar, Homepage button etc. are gone.
The Homepage button has been replaced by the Home Screen Icon of a mobile device.
Reinstalling Tiger Skin version 6.5 solves the problem.
Any idea what could be the cause?
I am running jAlbum version 37.1

Release notes for Tiger 'New:
- The top menu can be made hidden behind a menu button, which is useful when it's too long to fit into one line'
Search for 'Navigation' result = Tiger-Site-Top bar-Functions-Top navigation-Use button above. Tooltip = The menu button will be used when the menu is longer than this number.

Hello,
This works perfectly well for a smartphone, but is usually not necessery with a desktop browser.
The menu button, which wasn't there before, is not clickable...
Other than an update from Tiger version 6.4.4 to 6.6.0, nothing has changed in the settings.
By the way, the presentation and operation of the top menu on a smartphone is okay, but not on a desktop browser.

Hello,
Apparently this is an addition in the latest version.
I'm going to look into this.
Thanks!

Hello,
Although the screenshot is in Dutch, the image will clarify.
The menu button is visible only if the number of elements in the top menu exceeds the value entered.
In my case, I have 9 top menu elements and the entered value 11, so the menu button is not visible and everything remains as it was.

Thank you I tried with no luck. I just reverted to the previous version not sure why it wouldn't work for me.

Your homepage shows eighteen menu items which means you need to set the ‘Tiger-Site-Top bar-Functions-Top navigation-Use button above’ to at least 19, though I don’t know what the maximum value it can be set to.

The menu button is supposed to be clickable on touch devices and should show the menu on mouseover on mouse-driven devices. I don't know how it fails on your albums.
You can set a high limit, e.g. 50, and this recent change should not kick in. Doesn't it work?
my web browser (Chrome, Edge, Vivaldi...) behaves as if the presentation of images takes place on a mobile device
I didn't understand how the images behave other than before.

I am on a laptop with a touch screen. I don't know if that's what is making the difference in how the site behaves (I was using the mouse and not touching the screen when I tested it).
I set the total number of items to 19 then to 30 with 4 rows just to see if it would work and it did not. I didn't test it on a different laptop since I don't have one without touch screen.

Thank you. I did try it with 19, 20 and 30. Please see my response below. It may be because I have a touch screen laptop that's all I could think of.

Have you cleared the browser cache, or tried a browser not previously used on your site?

Tried both Chrome and Edge and cleared cache. Here's a snapshot of the settings in both browsers. It shows the menu button but all my links disappear. This is on local PC but it behaves the same when uploaded to my host.
On my site as it is now (with previous version of Tiger) the links on top bar disappear if the window is made small and then the menu button automatically shows as seen in the second image.

I see now what's happening. Some large-screen laptops behave like touch devices even though they have mouse support. The new logic uses the menu button approach on touch devices, regardless of the large screen size. I should find out if the mouse is also available on these devices. Perhaps I could assume that the menu could be displayed fully on any device that's at least 640px wide. I'm not sure.
