small images along video time line.

IMHO ( :) ). Would it be possible to show "mini" thumbnails (8-10% of the original video size) along the video timeline? The thumbnails would only be visible when dragging the cursor along the timeline. It can be helpful if you are trying to find a segment somewhere in the video.

Probably once every 5 seconds or have it as a user input.

I assume you mean for an album, not within jAlbum? Either way can’t users just use the video scrub bar to see parts of the video?

If it is for an album this needs moving to the appropriate skin, which is?

Not an album. I was meaning for Video playback. I've attached a file that shows this feature on YouTube.

Strangely, the cursor was not captured, but it was directly below the mini thumbnail.
