Fancybox: Full screen question

Hello all ...... is there a setting somewhere to force Fancybox (and Photoswipe for that matter) to go automatically into full screen mode upon load?

Looked everywhere and cannot find a setting for it.

In any skin, you can search the settings. Open the skin's settings panel, then type the text you're looking for into the search box at upper right. Entering fullscreen, for example, will lead you to all of the skin's settings that reference "fullscreen," if there are any.

ETA: Click on any of the "hits" from that search, and you'll be taken to that settings panel, with a green circle showing you where it is.

There are four ways to open the Light-box in full screen mode on devices which support full screen mode:

1. The album creator can check the check-mark 'Show full screen button' on the Slide page / Options tab. This will display a Full screen button in the tool-bar of the light-box, so the viewer can open the Full screen mode by clicking that button.

2. The album viewer can open the Viewer settings by clicking the Settings button in the upper right corner of the thumbnails page, next he should select 'Use full screen for a picture: yes' and next close the Viewer setting by clicking the X-button. The Light-box will then automatically be opened in Full screen mode.

3. On all devices that support the full screen mode, you will see a full screen button on the index page, if the Slide page 'Show full screen button' is unchecked. Clicking that button will open both the Index page and the Light-box in Full screen mode

4. On a PC you can click the F11 function button. This will open both the Index page and the Light-box in Full screen mode I hope this helps! Regards, André"

Thanks Andre - I think I should also ask if there is to make the whole album go into full screen mode including the index page? Perhaps it just isn't a thing

The only thing a skin can do is offer a "fullscreen" button on the index page, like the one on the right side, here:

A page can't automatically open itself in fullscreen mode. In fact, even within an album, if you open a folder, the browser will drop out of fullscreen mode, because as far as the browser is concerned, it's a new page - it doesn't know that it's part of the same "show."

It's a browser security thing. If a page could open in fullscreen, it could fool you into thinking you were on some other site, and steal logins and passwords.
